Mail not sent

in sending mail from the RCN email account, then first check the outbox folder.
If any message is stored in it. The message will get stored in the outbox if there is some issue with the
recipient address. To check the outbox
folder, follow the steps mentioned below:

Open mail from the phone and click on the email icon given
just at the top of the screen.

If you find no mail in the outbox, then it means the mail is
successfully delivered to the mail address.

If the recipient mail address hasn’t received any mail from
your side, then you might have entered a wrong
email address in the ‘To’ field. Check the email address carefully and enter it
again.
Problem with
the password
This problem arises if there is a problem with a password
or you have entered the wrong password in
the box. To fix this problem, you need to follow the steps mentioned here as
under:

Open webmail of your RCN account and check the mail address
and password from there.
2.
If you don’t know the password, then you can call at email
support number mentioned on the support page.
If you find the above-mentioned
steps didn’t work for you, then it means there is a need to diagnose the problem first and troubleshoot accordingly. We
are now going to mention some steps which you need to implement on your
iphone7.
1.
Check the network connection: If the network strength on the phone is poor or totally unavailable, then you
will find a problem in getting the mail.
Call your ISP to fix this issue.
2.
Restart your router and other network devices: To restart the
devices, disconnect them from the power supply and connect them back to the
supply after 10 minutes. This will refresh all devices.
3.
Restart mail app: To restart the mail app on iphone7 you need
to open the recently opened app by clicking on ‘Home’ button. You will find a list of recently opened app, click on ‘RCN
mail’ and swipe left or right to force close it.
4.
Restart iphone7: To
restart the phone, press the power button
for at least 10 seconds. Your phone will then power off. Click to restart it
after 10 seconds.
